Trainers do the training, trainees do the talking
The inlingua® method is trainee-focused and aims at developing well-structured oral skills first
by choosing familiar contexts for efficient acquisition of reflexes,
by taking into account trainees' needs, objectives and interests,
by prioritising contents according to rate of progress,
by constantly keeping trainees' talking time to 80%.
"The 3 P's" of a training session
Each session plan is organised in three balanced phases: Presentation, Practice and Production, also known as "the 3 P's":
1: presentation of lexical and structural items selected to be the backbone of the session,
2: practice aiming at creating reflexes for fluent expression and spontaneous reactions,
3: production activities in a targeted context for active knowledge in real-life situations.
